A game guide: the curve and the stopping point
Crash games with crypto: the round, the house edge and the terms
A multiplier rises, and you decide when to get out. Here is the arithmetic behind the house edge, the checking of a round and the account rules worth knowing before you deposit coins.
A crash game is about one rising multiplier and one choice: do you get out before it stops? The figure starts at 1.00×, climbs upwards and halts at a point that was fixed before the round began. Get out in time and you get the stake multiplied by the figure you stopped at. Still be in when the curve halts and the stake is gone.
Below we work through the round phase by phase, calculate the house edge with simple figures, show how a round can be verified and gather the account rules from the operators' own terms. The studio figures come from the studios' websites, opened on 15 September 2026. If you want to compare the whole range of crypto casinos before choosing a game, the home page of Kryptospill is the place to start.
Crash: the curve and the stop
How a round of a crash game goes
Every round has three phases. First comes the stake window, a short pause in which you choose the amount and possibly a target value for an automatic cash-out. Then the climb starts, and the multiplier counts from 1.00× upwards. Finally the curve stops, and every stake still standing is lost.
The most important thing to take in is that the stopping point does not arise while the curve is running. It is worked out before anyone has placed a stake, and the animation you see is only a display of a figure that has already been decided. So there are no patterns to read in the previous rounds. No app, channel or service can know where the next stop will come.
Manual or automatic cash-out
You can get out in two ways. Either you press yourself while the figure rises, or you set a target value before the start, for example 1.80×, and let the game do the job when the curve reaches it. If the round stops at 1.79×, the stake is lost — the target has to be reached, not just approached.
Some titles let you have two stakes in the same round. SmartSoft Gaming describes this for JetX, along with an automatic cash-out at a pre-chosen multiplier. A common setup is to secure one stake low and let the other stand longer. Each of the two stakes still follows exactly the same arithmetic as if it stood alone.
The house edge in a crash game, worked out
The studios give a return percentage, often called RTP. It says what share of all stakes goes back to the players over very many rounds. The rest is the house edge, so a 97% return means a 3% house edge.
A worked example. Assume the return is 97% whichever target value you choose. Then the curve reaches a target value m in roughly 0.97 / m of rounds:
- target 1.50×: around 64.7% of rounds
- target 2.00×: around 48.5%
- target 5.00×: around 19.4%
- target 10.00×: around 9.7%
Put 10 USDT with a target of 2.00× over 1,000 rounds and you hit on average 485 times and get 20 USDT each time. That comes to 9,700 USDT back out of 10,000 USDT staked, so an average loss of 300 USDT, or the same 3%. With a target of 10.00× you hit less often, but each win is larger, and the average ends up in the same place. The target value governs how much the results swing, not how much the house keeps over time.
The same holds for systems where you double the stake after a loss. Each individual round still has the same house edge, and the system only moves the risk into rare but large losing runs. The relation between the return and the swings is set out in the walk-through of the return percentage.

Titles and studios
The figures below are on the studios' own pages, read on 15 September 2026. A casino can run a title with its own settings, so the information window in the game itself is the place to double-check.
- Aviator (Spribe): a 97% return, a demo button on the studio's page, launched in 2019. Spribe writes no upper multiplier. More on the title in the guide to Spribe's plane round.
- JetX (SmartSoft Gaming): a return from 96.2% to 98.9%, launched in 2018. The studio writes that the plane can explode as early as 1.00×. When the return is given as a range, it is the casino's setup that decides where in the range you land.
- Crash X (Turbo Games): a 96% return, a top multiplier of 999,999×, launched in March 2021. The outcome can be verified with the seed after the round.
- Aero (Turbo Games): a 96% return, a top multiplier of 999,999×, launched in August 2023. Every round can be verified with the seed.
- Spaceman (Pragmatic Play), Space XY (BGaming) and Crash (bustabit): named with their studios.
A relative of the format is the game where you set the target first. There is no curve to follow there, only one figure that either reaches your target or does not.
Provably fair: how a round is verified
Many crash titles build on an arrangement with a server seed and a client seed. The operator makes a secret server seed and shows you a hash of it before the round. The client seed comes from the players, and the result is worked out from the combination. When the server seed is later revealed, you can hash it yourself and see whether the answer matches the one you were shown beforehand.
Spribe describes its variant like this: the server seed consists of 16 random characters, the SHA256 hash for the next round sits in «Provably Fair Settings», and at the start the server seed and the client seeds are combined and hashed with SHA512. Every round can be opened from the game history through an icon of its own.
The check proves that one round was not altered along the way. It says nothing about the house edge, the account rules or the licence. The procedure step by step is on the page about seed checking.
Crash for real money: the account rules before the deposit
Anyone searching for crash games for real money is usually right in front of a deposit. At that moment the terms matter more than the game. The mechanics are fairly similar from one casino to another, while the rules on identity checks and withdrawals vary a great deal.
Three points are worth finding before you send coins:
- The amount threshold for documents. Bitcasino.io sets the threshold at €2,500 or the value in crypto (cl. 6.6). Rocketpot gives $2,000–$2,500 in two different clauses (cl. 11.4 and 12.4).
- The period for sending documents. Wild Fortune gives you two weeks (cl. 8.4 and 9.3), Rocketpot 30 calendar days (cl. 12.2) and Metaspins 30 days (cl. 9.10).
- Caps per period. At Wolfbet the ceiling sits at $8,000 per week, and for a whole calendar month the limit is $30,000 (cl. 15 §5). Wild Fortune sets €1,000 per day, €5,000 per week and €15,000 per month (cl. 11.8). Rocketpot splits wins from $5,000 into instalments of at most $5,000 a month (cl. 11.5).
The desk has first-hand experience of document requirements from two accounts, and one of them shows how a threshold comes into force. At TrustDice the desk deposited USDT over several weeks in May 2026, and the withdrawals went through without verification until the total passed around $5,000. The next request was left standing as «payment under review», and then an email with a Veriff link arrived. More on document requirements and instalments is in the steps for getting a win out.
Crash with crypto: the balance, the coin and the minimum amount
If you are searching for crash games with crypto, the point is that the stake is held in a coin. The balance is shown in BTC, USDT or another coin, and the win lands in the same coin. The value in kroner follows the rate, even while the coin is only sitting in the account.
The minimum amount is in the terms. Rocketpot requires at least 0.001 BTC per deposit (cl. 10.2), and Wild Fortune requires €20 (cl. 10.4). At Bitcasino.io a deposit below the minimum amount is invalid and not refunded (cl. 5). Choose the right network too: Rainbet writes that coins sent on a network it does not support are lost (cl. 7.9). The checklist before you send is in the guide to depositing coins.
A crash casino: choose by five points in the terms
A crash casino is in practice a crypto casino with crash titles in its lobby, so the choice is about the operator. The ranking on this site puts five questions to the operator's own documents:
- Do the terms carry a clause on identity checks?
- Does it say when the check starts?
- Is an amount stated?
- Is there a period for the documents?
- Does the register at the licensing authority show the licence under the operator's own domain?
The size of a bonus and the number of games earn no points. An example: Rocketpot answers yes to the first four, but when the register at cert.cga.cw was opened on 12 and 13 September 2026, the certificate stood with the status «invalid». The fifth point therefore pulls it down, even though the terms themselves are detailed. Twelve operators with files are on the full list.
Before you choose a crash casino, decide on an amount and a time frame for your own part as well. Losses are a fixed part of the arithmetic above, even when you follow a plan. Set the limit before the first round, not in the middle of a losing run. If you feel play taking over, Hjelpelinjen (hjelpelinjen.no) gives free help.
